Many photographers will give you a popular opinion on how they create emotion in a photograph.

I do it the other way around.

I don't create emotion in my photographs, I capture it.

When I experience an emotion, my subconscious drives me to capture what resonates with my emotional state. 

The stories I tell are about the inner emotional landscapes we traverse.
